The Black Hawk-Central City Sanitation District is a local government providing collection and treatment of wastewater for properties within the boundary of the District along with several Extraterritorial Users.  The District is mainly funded by user fees with minimal funds from taxes. The District has no debt.

The District is committed to providing equitable digital access to the public.

The District’s ongoing accessibility effort is working toward compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, level AA criteria. These guidelines not only help make technology accessible to users with sensory, cognitive and mobility disabilities, but ultimately to all users, regardless of ability.

The District’s efforts are part of a meaningful change in making the District’s digital services inclusive and accessible. We welcome comments on how to improve our technology’s accessibility for users with disabilities and for requests for accommodations to any District services.
